My job as Mission Grants Vice President is to collect Mission Grant proposals from Mission oriented organizations as well as Missionaries who need financial support for special projects. Along with my Mission Grants committee and Pastor Robinson, we evaluate the proposals and make sure that they are within the guidelines. I communicate with the grant applicants throughout the selection process and follow-up with them after the grant is presented and completed.
I live in Evanston, Indiana, and have been married 67 years to my husband, Leonard. We have 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. I am a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Evanston and am active on the Evangelism and Worship Committees.
Of all the committees and boards on which I have served, I am now serving on my most favorite. Missions have always had a big place in my heart and having made 12 mission trips to Guatemala really reinforced that love.
