Serve the Lord with Gladness
Psalm 100:2

LWML PRAYER MONDAYS @ NOON
Pastor Rodney Schmeltz
Jr. Pastoral Counselor

Please read:

Proverbs 8:1-4, 22-31

What great comfort it is to know and be assured that our God and Lord is eternal. And while this 3 in 1 and 1 in 3, God we love and serve, proves difficult for our lil-ole-brains. Remember, we are not called to complete understanding nor total comprehension. Rather, in childlike faith, we say: Yes, Lord, as we continue to learn and grow in our faith. So it is our Triune God has revealed Himself to His people for their [our] good. What more could our God and Lord do for us than He has already done? What He has promised He will continue to do! Persevere dear sisters, He who created the entire universe and still cares for it today watches over your body and soul.

LWML - We are encouraged by our daily Mite calendar to "Pray at Noon with our LWML Leaders and Sisters."   We would all do well to keep prayer as a daily practice "without ceasing." In that spirit, take a moment to pray with others, for the work of Christ's Church, and for the work of the LWML as they seek to "serve the Lord with gladness" and sow the seed of God's Word.

We Pray:
Eternal and ever present God and Lord. Thank you for making Yourself known to us in and through Your Word, especially so in Your Son who is the Word made flesh and dwelt among us. Forgive us for those times when our eyes are on self rather than the Savior. Strengthen us as we rely on You for all things in life and especially for the life that is yet to come for us in eternity. In the name of Your Son Jesus we pray, Amen.

In service to Christ, Pastor Schmeltz, Jr. Counselor

If one will not study God's Word. Will not be found in Bible Study or refuses to hear the proclamation of the Gospel, then don't be surprised when you find that you are "tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes."

Unless you know the truth, you will never recognize a lie.
